Eventually you will hit a job in which the content expertise is more difficult than the programming expertise. Expect a learning curve that can hit as long as 18 months. So given that kind of job record and knowing we would only get six months of work out of you, about long enough for you to start something and then get ready to abandon it to the next guy, we wouldn't hire you. I personally would not stay at a job for more than 2 years, though this economy has me rethinking my stategy short term, until it picks back up again.
