Heh.  Writing _XML Elements of Style_ was easy, after two years on 
XML-Dev.  Haven't need to change much, either.

Unfortunately, I think you're losing track of the fact that 'best practices 
stand on their own' for us XML-Dev folks, but not really for the rest of 
the world.  I genuinely hope there's a better-selling book that goes into 
as much detail on the 
validating/non-validating/namespace-aware/non-namespace aware parser issues 
as XMLEOS (Amazon rank:111,042), but I haven't seen one yet.  Most books 
gloss over these issues, and the few that mention them don't tend to 
(ma)linger on them.

I'll be giving a full day tutorial on them in May -

Might as well profit selling aspirin, when headaches abound.
