The XML:DB XML Database initiative (http://www.xmldb.org) has launched
the xmldb@x... mailing list for general discussions about XML
database technologies. The list is a technical open forum similar to
xml-dev. It is not a forum for marketing though announcements are
acceptable if the list guidelines are followed (see below). If you have
an interest in XML databases and want to share your insights please
subscribe. 

To subscribe you can send an email to xmldb-request@x... with the
word subscribe in the body. You can find out more about the list
guidelines and the other projects of XML:DB on the projects page.
