Postings through 2/2000 can be searched from http://www.lists.ic.ac.uk/hypermail/xml-dev/, but since Oasis took over xml-dev I don't think they've offered a way to search the newer postings. All the xml.org links to xml-dev archives that I can find (from http://www.xml.org/index.shtml, http://www.xml.org/xml-dev/index.shtml, and http://www.xml.org/archives/) are broken, but you can see a month-by-month directory listing at http://xml.org/archives/xml-dev/. As far as I can tell, this only leads to numbered listings for each month's posts (e.g. 0000.html, 0001.html, 0002.html etc.) which won't do you much good.
