Tim,

You give no information on how to join the list, or whom you've added 
already.  If you were inviting XML-Devers to join by cc'ing this list, you 
may want to be more explicit about instructions for joining.  (A body of 
"s*bscribe" sent to xml-uri-request@w..., I'm guessing.)
