XLink provides ways to *describe* this (a "replace" value for the "show"
attribute) but for now there aren't any XLink-aware applications I know of
that will read and process this instruction. Software developers are waiting
for the spec to become a Recommendation, instead of shooting at a moving
target; once it gets there I'm sure we'll see implementations.
