As long as we're making the change from RawName, is there any chance we could use getQualfiedName() instead of getQName()? QName is really only an abbreviation used in the BNF grammar. The namespaces spec elsewhere spells it out as "qualified name". QName is quite cryptic. QualifiedName seems a little more legible to me. +-----------------------+------------------------+-------------------+ | Elliotte Rusty Harold | elharo@m... | Writer/Programmer | +-----------------------+------------------------+-------------------+ | The XML Bible (IDG Books, 1999) | | http://metalab.unc.edu/xml/books/bible/ | | http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ISBN=0764532367/cafeaulaitA/ | +----------------------------------+---------------------------------+ | Read Cafe au Lait for Java News: http://metalab.unc.edu/javafaq/ | | Read Cafe con Leche for XML News: http://metalab.unc.edu/xml/ | +----------------------------------+---------------------------------+ *************************************************************************** This is xml-dev, the mailing list for XML developers.
