/ Leigh Dodds <ldodds@i...> was heard to say:
| Could you just confirm that this will be the *whole* XML-DEV archive,
| including the period when the list was hosted at IC?

I believe I have the whole thing.

| Also will all existing URLs be preserved, or are you considering
| the archive to be completely broken and are re-generating it?

Oh, bother. I hadn't thought of that. Given that the archive at
xml.org/archives doesn't include the IC messages and hasn't had
any updates since, um, whenever, February, as I recall, I was
just going to regenerate the whole thing.

| I'm curious because the current archive is addressed
| by msg number: (e.g. http://www.xml.org/archives/xml-dev/msg00001.html)
| Which is numbered from the lists time at XML.org and not from
| its inception.

Right. How important is it to preserve those URLs?

                                        Be seeing you,
                                          norm
