A person privately pointed out that TEIxLite is the XML version of the TEI
Lite DTD.  From the context it's been used recently, I believed it to be an
"extra lite" version of TEI, akin to "bare bones TEI".  But I was wrong.  I
apologize to the XML-dev crowd for not doing my homework more thoroughly
before sending a request to this list.
