So, what is a class apart from the properties that "range" it?  Can a
class be defined without reference to properties at all (i.e. what
*else* is it)?  Either a huge question is being begged, or what are
being called "properties" might just be better off modelled as
independent links (and thus actually *classes* in their own right.)

I think "property-centric" is a terminological mistake of some kind.
(Though, of what kind, I'm not sure yet:))
