I'm flattered, but for the record, the Infoset work has been taken
over by the XML-Core WG, and I withdrew from the W3C XML Activity last 
November for personal and business (not political) reasons.

The XML Core WG is co-chaired by Paul Grosso and Arnaud Le Hors, so it
is in good hands.
