1) Is there a canonical scripting language for XML? If
so, does it have a virtual machine and a bytecode set?

2) Has anbody compiled JavaScript or ECMAScript to the
WMLScript virtual machine bytecode set? How about
Java, C or Visual Basic? COBOL? Fortran? Snobol?

Cheers, Scott
