Hi.
Could anyone please tell me what would be the best way to evaluate
predicates based on the content of XML documents?
Xpath allow to point at part of a document, and this yields to problems:
1) the sub-document pointed at may be a tree itself, or
2) assuming it's a leaf, I see no way to express a predicate (i.e.
'xpath expression' greater than 3)
If XQL (as XML query language) were out, it could be used like in:
select true from ... where PREDICATE;
Thank-you in advance,
Jean-Marie.
