I would believ that they are different becuase of their parse trees.

For example, the fist fragment would be :

                 ,--This is some text
       <one> ---+---<two>---blurb blurb blurb
                 `--and some more text

while the second fragmentlooks like this:

                 ,--This is some text
       <one> ---+---and some more text
                 `--<two>---blurb blurb blurb

Traversing the trees would give quite different results.
