Even this is reading in too much: OASIS is a non-profit, semi-nothing
standards group, and cannot do anything for a "market." OASIS
has only ONE (1) employee! XML.ORG is just a web-site, really,
like a library catalog. The press release is makes it seem more
than this, perhaps. No real "competition" because XML.ORG is
designing/promoting no single way to do anything, e-commerce or
otherwise. It's unfortunate that one might draw other
conclusions from the marketing crap that's flying around.

Thanks for your analysis.
