This is an excellent idea.  If namespaces are to be supported in the DOM, it should certainly
be in level 1 if the W3C intends on namespaces being as ubiquitous as HTML.  I personally
prefer MS's approach as it gives you the ability to create namespace aware elements and
attributes at the API level, while the SUN, Oracle, and I think IBM implementations do not as
you can only use Document.createElement(String name).
