	I'm sorry ... exactly which billion dollar opportunity is slipping through
whose fingers :-)

	This is true, take for example healthcare (which IMHO is the killer XML
app). The U.S. spends in aggregate $ 1.5 or so Trillion/year. Estimates are
that 20-40% is due to overhead, inefficiency, waste etc. (i.e. *not* being
spent on actual health care).

	The problem is that its no one individual, or organization's problem. Its
always someone elses problem. Unless there is a very specific benefit to
improving efficiency there's no incentive to do the hard work to make it
happen. So... each and every one on this list has to take a stand and refuse
medical care from any organization which doesn;t maintain and transmit its
records in XML ...
