When I start a discussion with you, I'm almost always cranky at best,
infuriated with you at worst.  Once it develops, I'm amazed and
enlightened.  In this case, I don't think I'll set up my own XLink draft
(though we'll see what happens as my implementation progresses - there are
a lot of holes to patch), but it's good to remember that such things are
indeed possible.
