Hi,

Having nothing better to do today, I've spent a few hours writing a little
freeware file search application that given a filename wildcard, recursivly
searches directories and generates an XML file that contains the search
results. ( The app only runs under windows )

Using IE5 & it's XML/CSS formatting, the output can then be viewed in a
'sort of' pretty fashion. (The long term goal is to use the output from
XFind to feed another application called XSync )

If your interested in this fun little project. The URL is:

http://www.arpsolutions.demon.co.uk/xml/xfind/index.htm

Other XML tools and info can be found at :

http://www.arpsolutions.demon.co.uk/xml/index.htm

I'll probably expand the app as I use it, but suggestions for features etc
are very welcome.

Regards,

Richard.
