I don't ordinarily send mail just to say "me too," but I want to publicly support Peter in his campaign against unnecessary quoting and attachments in mail to public lists. For people like me who archive their mail and have to get a lot of it over a phone line, such things are enormously annoying *despite* the fact that my company is picking up the expense.
