Sr. Web Developer / Application Engineer

Responsibilities: The Sr. Web developer / Application Engineer will be responsible for developing advanced sales and marketing infrastructure and applications for the Stylus Studio Web site, http://www.stylusstudio.com. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining various mission-critical back-end server infrastructure to increase sales and visitor traffic to the site, for example:

• Custom middleware and back-end applications
• Advanced logging and personalization engines
• Custom Sales tools
• An online shop
• Creating new websites
• Creation of content authoring tools

Qualifications: Ideally, the candidate will have had previously played a leading role in launching a high-traffic, e-commerce site. Candidate must have top-notch Web application development skills in addition to robust C# programming skills in order. Please note, only candidates with a bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering, or, a very substantial amount of related technical coursework and Work experience in a related field will be considered.

Required Skills: Windows Server 2003, SQL Server, IIS, C#, ASP.NET, HTML, CSS, XSLT, JavaScript, T-SQL/Stored Procedures.

Systems Engineer

Is XML your game? If so, DataDirect has an opportunity for you. We are looking for a highly motivated pre-sales/post-sales systems engineer to play a key role in the Stylus Studio team. Stylus Studio is an award-winning XML IDE (see www.stylusstudio.com) with a customer base that is growing by leaps and bounds. Your job starts and ends with making sure that these customers achieve maximum success when using Stylus Studio to design, develop, and deploy XML applications.

In pre-sales mode, the Stylus Studio SE will support the Stylus Studio sales team with technical expertise, help potential customers understand how to fully leverage the power of Stylus Studio, and even do some prospecting with select, highly qualified leads. For post-sales, the SE will also have primary responsibility for providing technical support to customers on the Stylus Studio Developer Network (SSDN).

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have a 4 year college degree and experience with building applications in relevant technologies including XML, Java, C#, and Web scripting. The key to success in this role is being able to relate to developers using Stylus Studio based on your prior experience. Good communication and problem-solving skills are as important as technical knowledge in this position. Senior Software Engineer

The Stylus Studio development team is looking for a top-flight Senior Software Engineer to join our development team. Stylus Studio is an award-winning XML IDE with a customer base that is growing by leaps and bounds.

This individual will have prior experience in creating rich GUI tools based on C++ and MS Visual Studio. Knowledge of OM/ATL is required as well as experience in Java programming and JNI. Experience in RogueWave Stingray libraries and XML technologies (XML Schema, XSLT, XPath, XQuery) are highly desirable. This position will require new GUI design as well as improvements and maintenance of existing Stylus Studio GUI modules.

Qualifications: The preferred candidate will have a BS or equivalent in computer Science and a minimum of 5 years relevant work experience.
