How to Generate Code for an XML Pipeline
To generate code for an XML Pipeline:
1. Open the XML Pipeline for which you want to generate code.
2. Display the Scenario Properties dialog box and
a. Select the desired scenario - Stylus Studio generates code only for the active scenario.
b. Make sure properties on the Execution framework tab are set appropriately. See
Execution Framework and Code Generation
for more information.
3. Close the Scenario Properties dialog box.
4. Click the Generate Code button (
) on the XML Pipeline Editor toolbar.
Alternative
: Select XML Pipeline > Generate Code from the Stylus Studio menu.
Stylus Studio displays a dialog box that allows you to specify code generation settings. There are separate dialog boxes for Java and C# code. The dialog box that appears is based on the execution framework you selected for the XML pipeline.
See
Code Generation Settings
if you need help with this step.
5. Click OK.
Stylus Studio generates code for the XML pipeline. If you generated Java code, the resulting file (myPipeline.java, for example) is opened in the Stylus Studio Java Editor.
