Toolbox Pane

The Toolbox pane contains icons that represent the nodes you can add to an XML pipeline. To use a tool from the Toolbox pane, simply drag the icon associated with the node you want to add to your XML pipeline, and drop it on the XML pipeline canvas. The node is added to the XML pipeline, and its properties are displayed in the Properties window.

To specify properties for input ports and output ports, you must select the port explicitly. Properties for ports are not displayed with the properties for the node with which they are associated.
